(-) letakkan kata ‘NOT’ setelah kata kerja yang pertama

(?) pindahkan kata kerja yang pertama ke awal kalimat

(-?) pindahkan kata kerja yang pertama pada kalimat negative ke awal kalimat

Note:

            Perubahan pada tenses simple present dan simple past dalam kalimat verbal active Voice harus mendatangkan kata kerja bantu (auxiliary) dari”do, does atau did”

Example:

1.      My sister shakes her head

(Ps.C.-)            : my sister was not shaking her head /wasn’t shaking..

(Pr.Pf.?)           : Has My sister shaken her head?

2.      They have taught us

(S.Ps.-)            : they did not teach us./didn’t teach

(S.Pr.?)            : Do they not teach us ?/ Don’t they teach us?
